About TOSS.
Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) is established by the Telangana State government to provide opportunities for continuing education to those who have missed opportunities to complete school and development education, and to other children/persons desirous of pursuing school-level education through open and distance learning (ODL) mode by offering courses and programs of general education, life enrichment, and vocational education up to pre-degree level.
TSOSS provides pre-elementary education through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode to school drop-outs and those missing the upper primary stage of education and aims to attain Universalization of Elementary Education (UEE) in the State and provide continuing education for adult neo-literates, working men, and women to reinforce their functional literacy and not to allow them to relapse into illiteracy.
TOSS Admission Notification Dates 2023-2024 Details.
- The admissions into TOSS SSC and Intermediate courses under Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) will commence from 15/06/2023 (Expected) for the Academic Year 2023-24, and various courses available In SSC (14+) and Intermediate (15+) in TOSS for school dropouts and others who discontinued their school education due to socio-economic reasons.
- There is no upper age limit for admissions, but students should have completed 14 years as of 31st August 2023.
- Candidates can apply through online mode only and should submit the application form before the deadline, which is on 30-06-2023.(Expected)
- Enrolled students have to appear for the examination conducted by TOSS, and there will be separate study material and examination patterns for open school system candidates. The TOSS Certificates will be considered on par with regular candidates.
